Does anyone else feel like the psychological thriller genre is becoming somewhat saturated? I've started feeling like I read the same book over and over again...swap out a character here, insert a plot twist there...bingo bango - new book, same garbage. Why do I keep reading these books if I don't enjoy them? Another discussion for another day.
HOWEVER! I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Part thriller, part family drama, The Au Pair was a fresh take on the psychological thriller and kept me guessing until the end.
And the yellow brick house sounds magical. I would totally summer there.
