I'll be the first to admit that I think Valentine's Day is kind of a silly holiday, but I'll also be the first to admit I have really started to enjoy decorating for Valentine's Day. Maybe because it's PINK. Or because it's okay to get a little tacky with your decorations. Or both. Prolly both...so to help you get in the lovey-dovey, pink and tacky spirit, I've rounded up some easy and inexpensive ways to get your house ready for the day of love.
Bows:
Grosgrain bows on our island pendants
Gingham pompom ribbon on the lids of our "treat" canisters
Ginger jar ribbon around the topiaries that flank our front door (and cute lil heart picks)
Mini heart wreaths:
I attached these Target Dollar Spot cuties to the backs of our dining chairs with Command Hooks
This berry wreath provides a pretty focal point in our kitchen and ties everything together
Cherry blossoms:
Cherry blossom stems in a ginger jar make the perfect Valentine's Day table centerpiece
These stems will take you straight from Valentine's Day into spring
Other easy touches:
Pink puff balls and faux pearls make a perfectly whimsical arrangement that won't wilt and combine perfectly with a pink candle
An apothecary jar filled with my most favorite Valentine's Day candy
Faux peonies and pink honeycomb balls - so tacky but so fun
Happy Valentine's Day!
